Single Point of Failure A city scape from above seen as a centralized system where very route converges towards a single controlling node. The intersection functions as both infrastructure and mechanism of governance, regulating movement through concentration, dependency, and controlled flow. Designed for efficiency, the system also exposes own fragility: disruption at the center effects everything connected to it. Borrowed from network theory, "Single Point of Failure" reflects on the vulnerabilities embedded within centralized structures, where mobility, access and participation remain contingent on the stability of a dominant core. Shot in Faislabad, the photograph examines how modern environments shape collective behavior through architecture itself, making systems of coordination and control visible through patterns of movement.
