Combine your wallets
Most collectors use more than one wallet: a vault that stays cold, a wallet for trading, a hot wallet for signing in. Combining them tells 6529 they all belong to you, so they count as one collector.
Nothing moves. Your NFTs stay in the wallets they are in. Wallet limits are loading from the selected backend. Check Guided Setup if settings are unavailable.
Why combine
What changes once your wallets count as one.
Your vault stays cold
Sign in, vote and post with your hot wallet. Everything in your vault still counts, and the vault never has to connect.
Your TDH adds up
TDH from every wallet counts toward one total. TDH gives your votes more weight in waves and counts toward your level.
Sets count across wallets
Cards spread over several wallets count toward full sets, seasons and the Genesis, Nakamoto and Gradient boosts.
Move cards without losing time
Moving a card between your combined wallets keeps its holding time, so its TDH keeps building.
Keep the TDH of old wallets
Stopped using an old or exposed address? Combine it and its TDH keeps counting while you never connect it again.
One profile, one collection
Your wallets share one profile. Your cards are counted together on your profile, on the leaderboards and for Meme Card subscriptions.
Which wallets to combine
Combine the wallets you already use, up to four. If you are starting fresh, three is enough: a vault, a transaction wallet and a social wallet.
Vault
Holds your NFTs and never connects to anything, not even this site. Ideally a SAFE or a hardware wallet.
Transaction wallet
Buys, sells and trades on recognized marketplaces. It can also handle your vault's paperwork, so the vault never has to sign.
Social wallet
Your hot wallet. It signs in to 6529, votes, posts, mints and pays for subscriptions, and holds no NFTs.
Old wallet
Optional. A burned or exposed address you no longer use. Combining it keeps its TDH counting.
How to set it up
The guided setup tells you which wallet signs next. Each wallet signing for itself can approve its links in one transaction; managers approve one transaction per link.
- 1
List your wallets
Wallet limits are loading from the selected backend. Check Guided Setup if settings are unavailable.
- 2
Follow the signing steps
Switch to the wallet shown and approve its transaction. Each costs a normal network (gas) fee. A vault with a manager stays disconnected: its manager approves one transaction for each link.
- 3
Done
Your profile shows the combined wallets within minutes. TDH fully updates at the next daily update, at 00:00 UTC.
Follow the order shown. Signing out of order, old return links or separate manager transactions can temporarily split your wallets, and votes you have cast in TDH waves can be reduced.
Start guided setupBefore you start
- Every combined wallet can sign in as your profile, change your primary address and choose where airdrops go. Only combine wallets you control.
- Profiles merge for good. If more than one of the wallets already has a profile, they become one. The handle and picture come from the profile with the highest CIC.
- Combining is a public record. Anyone can see which wallets are combined. It does not move your NFTs or let one wallet trade another wallet's cards.
Changing it later
- Add a wallet: run the guided setup again. Your current wallets sign first and the new one signs last.
- Remove a wallet: the leaving wallet can revoke its links in one batch transaction. Its manager revokes one link per transaction.
- Lost or hacked wallet: from each of your other wallets, revoke the link to it straight away. Until the last link is revoked, it can still sign in as your profile.
- Already have four? Remove the old wallet first, then add the new one.
Questions
What does it cost?
One network (gas) fee for each transaction. Combining four wallets takes four transactions, or a few more if a manager signs for your vault.
Do I need to move my NFTs?
No. Your NFTs stay where they are. Combining only records that the wallets belong to the same collector.
How many wallets can I combine?
Wallet limits are loading from the selected backend. Check Guided Setup if settings are unavailable.
Can I combine with a friend or another collector?
No. Combining is for one collector's own wallets. Every wallet becomes a key to the profile, and combining different people's TDH is against the rules.
I set up four wallets before the start date. What now?
Your consolidation keeps three of them. From the activation time shown in Guided Setup, run the guided setup with all four wallets. It signs again the links the fourth wallet needs.
Which profile survives when wallets join?
The profiles merge permanently. The handle and picture come from the profile with the highest CIC, then the highest TDH.
What happens if I sign in the wrong order?
Your wallets split into smaller groups until the last signature lands, and votes you have cast in TDH waves can be reduced. They are not restored, so cast them again once the group is complete. The guided setup only lets the right wallet sign each step.
Where can I see my combined wallets?
Your profile's Identity tab lists them. On the TDH page, Explain my TDH shows every wallet that counts, and the Wallet Checker shows the links between any wallets.
Does it expire?
No. A link lasts until one of its wallets revokes it.
