Rakesh Pulapa (Rakesh)

Rakesh Pulapa is an Indian travel and aerial photographer whose artist biography describes a computer-science background and a transition from hobby photography into professional work. The Condé Nast Traveller interview and public regional profile associate him with Rajahmundry/Rajamahendravaram and with drone, nature, and travel photography. One independent interview uses the expanded name Rakesh Kiran Pulapa; the Museum preserves that as a source variant and leaves the public authority form open.

In Dichotomy., Pulapa’s aerial viewpoint divides dense homes from an ordered field of palms. The image’s near-ruler-straight edge turns a lived environment into a diagram of land use, security, and property. The submission describes the ordered side as a jail facility and the other as a residential neighbourhood; the photograph itself leaves the facility unidentified, allowing the formal boundary to remain visible while the claim stays attributed.
