• Require a work-specific technical-constitution record covering source, dependencies, runtime, browser, external services, hardware, chain/token, mutability, and display assumptions.
• Record original, current, migrated, emulated, documentary, and fallback states separately, with dates, evidence, responsible reviewers, and known losses.
• Publish conservation case studies that connect acquisition, artist input, technical diagnosis, intervention, current access, and remaining limits.
• Add catalogue fields for public data route, rights status, and whether the Museum holds source, capture, runtime, token, or only permission to link.

Where the analogy ends

HEK has collection authority, conservation staff, and technical partnerships that the 6529 Network Museum does not automatically possess.
