The selected submission is signed “Gül Yıldız” under the GulYildiz handle. The Fujifilm public profile uses the same public professional name and describes photography and videography training, an engineering background, AFIAP recognition, Fujifilm X-Photographer affiliation, and the Artrospektif Photography Atelier. The selected photograph was submitted from Cologne.
Her photographic language is attentive to architecture, framing, filtered light, and the way a human figure is scaled by a built environment. In Take the Key!, a solitary figure stands before a patterned blue screen inside a stone hall. The screen turns daylight into a sequence of bands and makes the threshold a problem of visibility before it becomes a question of movement. The artist connects the image to knowledge, authority, digital sovereignty, Web3 ownership, and self-custody; those meanings remain part of the artist’s account.
