Quality
The durable trust score for evaluating a new wave. This is where TDH-backed Wave REP has the largest explicit weight.
(creator x 20%) + (poster levels x 20%) + (diversity x 15%) + (subscriptions x 10%) + (REP x 35%)
Hotness
The momentum score. Recent level-weighted posting helps, but low-quality waves cannot ride activity alone.

Quality Gate
A low-quality wave gets only partial hotness credit when visibility is calculated.

Visibility
The final discovery score used for balanced wave ordering and visibility tiers.

What the score is trying to do
Reward durable TDH-backed trust, keep momentum useful, and reduce obvious spam/cross-post pressure.
Creator level and level-weighted posters are explicit quality inputs.
Wave REP is the largest single quality component.
Hotness only gets full visibility credit once quality clears the threshold.
REP curve
Raw Wave REP can be very large or very negative. The score uses the raw TDH-sized number, then maps it to a bounded component for discovery math.
